Kom (Itaŋikom)
The Kom language, Itaŋikom, is the language spoken by the Kom people of the Northwest Region (NWR) of Cameroon. There are about 300,000 native speakers.
There are two Grace Notes training centers in the NWR, in the towns of Jinkfuin (Pastor Teh Francis Yai) and Fundong (Pastor Ndong Ezekiel Chongwain), both near the central city of Bamenda. Pastor Teh manages the translation project. The courses Doctrine 100 and Titus have been translated into Kom, with work on other courses continuing.
